Dr. Joe Fitzgerald serves as the Assistant Director for Belmont University’s Data Collaborative. His areas of responsibility include oversight of infusion of experiential data learning into university-wide programs and curriculum, leading assessment efforts for data literacy and assessment of community-thriving programs and establishing a culture of data across campus among faculty, staff, and students. He holds an Ed.D. in Education with emphasis in Educational Leadership and Assessment. Dr. Fitzgerald brings 20 years of experience in curriculum and instruction, creation and implementation of effective assessment techniques and processes, and learning and school improvement. His areas of expertise include facilitation and engagement strategies, classroom management, higher education leadership, and innovative assessment and evaluation methods. He is a trusted and respected thought leader and frequent speaker in the education industry.
